Sundays 7:00 am Channel 27 WKYT
It is requested that all children under the age of five stay in our nursery
so there will be no distractions during the preaching of the Gospel.
Jesus, Thy blood and righteousness
My beauty are, my glorious dress
Mid flaming worlds, in these arrayed
With joy shall I lift up my head.
When from the dust of death I rise
To claim my mansion in the skies
E’en then shall this be all my plea
Jesus has lived and died for me.
Bold shall I stand in that great day
For who ought to my charge shall lay?
While through Thy blood absolved I am
From sin’s tremendous curse and shame.
This spotless robe the same appears
When ruined nature sinks in years
No age can change its glorious hue
The robe of Christ is ever new.
O let the dead now hear Thy voice
Now bid Thy wand’ring ones rejoice
Their beauty this, their glorious dress
JESUS THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS!

“For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” – Romans 1:20
While many profess atheism, they have not always been atheist. The light of creation tells us that somebody caused all of this. Everything has to have a cause. But nothing caused the Creator. He is Eternal. And He is All-powerful. Nothing short of Omnipotence could bring matter into existence that was not there before. The Light of creation tells us that God is. And that alone renders a man without excuse for not seeking God. When one turns to atheism it is because he does not like the implications of an eternal, all-powerful God. Atheism is intellectually indefensible, yet the wise of this world profess it. There are no atheists in heaven. There are no atheists in hell. And in reality, there are none here either. All men are born with the knowledge of God.
WHAT IS IN CHRIST?
What is in Christ? I see these three things in Scriptures.
1. All the fullness of the Godhead in a body (Col. 2:9).
2. All spiritual blessings (Eph. 1:3).
3. You….if you are a believer (I Cor. 1:30).
“TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE!”
When God moves in salvation, He lays hold of a sinner and makes him a preacher. He lays hold of another sinner and makes him a hearer. He puts a message in the preacher, and gives him the ability to preach it. He puts faith in the hearer, and gives him the ability to believe it. And when the transaction is finished, ALL parties give God ALL the glory for ALL of it! The preacher cries: “Salvation is of the Lord.” The hearer cries: “Salvation is of the Lord.” The preacher takes no credit for the message! The hearer takes no credit for believing the message! They both in complete agreement say: “To God be the glory, great things He hath done!” - Gabe Stalnaker
“She bound the scarlet line in the window” – Joshua 2:21
Rahab depended for her preservation upon the promise of the spies, whom she looked upon as the representatives of the God of Israel. Her faith was simple and firm, but it was very obedient. To tie the scarlet line in the window was a very trivial act in itself, but she dared not run the risk of omitting it. Come, my soul, is there not here a lesson for thee? Hast thou been attentive to all thy Lord’s will, even though some of His commands should seem non-essential? Hast thou observed in his own way the two ordinances of believers’ baptism and the Lord’s Supper? These neglected, argue much unloving disobedience in thy heart. Be henceforth in all things blameless, even to the tying of a thread, if that be matter of command. This act of Rahab sets forth a yet more solemn lesson. Have I implicitly trusted in the precious blood of Jesus? Have I tied the scarlet cord, as with a Gordian knot in my window, so that my trust can never be removed? Or can I look out towards the Dead Sea of my sins, or the Jerusalem of my hopes, without seeing the blood, and seeing all things in connection with its blessed power? The passer-by can see a cord of so conspicuous a colour, if it hangs from the window: it will be well for me if my life makes the efficacy of the atonement conspicuous to all onlookers. What is there to be ashamed of? Let men or devils gaze if they will, the blood is my boast and my song. My soul, there is One who will see that scarlet line, even when from weakness of faith thou canst not see it thyself; Jahovah, the Avenger, will see it and pass over thee. Jericho’s walls fell flat: Rahab’s house was on the wall, and yet it stood unmoved; my nature is built into the wall of humanity, and yet when destruction smites the race, I shall be secure. My soul, tie the scarlet thread in the window afresh, and rest in peace. - C. H. Spurgeon
THE WORD OF THE EVANGELIST
God knows I am no scholar, nor am I endued with any shining part or abilities; but I find, by happy experience, that the best rule to walk by, and try others and their doctrines by, is the revealed will of God, by the Spirit, in the heart, and in His Word. And I believe to enforce the Spirit’s work is to…insist on a union in the bond of love to Christ, to declare the whole will of God as revealed in His Word; to cry down priestcraft, and set up the Gospel model; to preach down human inventions, and setup the will of God; to cry down the whole works of the flesh, and exalt the merits of Christ…is the doing of the works of an evangelist.
– William Huntington, England 1745-1813
